Strange name, you will say, but what does Batisesola mean?
The word derives from the Venetian dialect, and means “Fioraliso”, or a flower that could be intertwined in the “Sesola” – sickle that was Battuta – “bater”.

Batisola also means firefly in dialect, because in the evening after the harvest the workers beat the scythe, sesola, and in the operation they created a whole series of sparks that looked like fireflies.

The hill where the estate is located is still luxuriant with cornflowers, and once also of fireflies, for this reason it was so called.

Construction subjected to a skilful restoration that has respected the ancient structures, offers accommodation in rooms furnished with antique Venetian furniture, and modern, with simplicity and functionality.
